Halloween at The Tiki at Citrus Hills

Citrus Hills broke out the Halloween decorations and hosted a Halloween bash with live music and a costume contest. Halloween at Citrus Hills is one of my favorite events. We go every year with our neighbors and friends and just have a great time dressing up for Halloween like we used to as kids. The costumes ran the gamut from a simple t-shirt to the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. Some of the costumes were authentic, like Aladdin and Jasmine, who bought their wardrobe in Morocco, and authentic Amish attire. Others were iconic, like Popeye and Olive Oyl, and Fred and Wilma Flintstone. Others were funny, like the Home Depot Box man who won best male costume. The best female costume was a blue loofah. The best group costume was won by the Wizard of Oz table with all of the characters from the movie.

The singer, Bill "Elvis" Lindsey, only took one brief brake the whole night only to return as "Elvis" to rock the house. Bill added some patriotism with his rendition of "Proud to Be an American." which is always a crowd pleaser at Citrus Hills.

It was a night of good music, good food and good friends.

My Favorite Costumes

My Husband and I - When I saw this "Alan" from the Hangover costume complete with baby "Carlos" all I could do is laugh. I dressed up as a Vegas showgirl.
